We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Mobile App Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile App Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve bugs and issues, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.
Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android) across various devices.
Identify, record, and track bugs or issues in the application.
Develop and execute test cases based on application specifications.
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and provide feedback on app performance and usability.
Perform regression testing to ensure the functionality of new and updated features.
Monitor app performance (load times, crashes, etc.) to ensure optimal user experience.
Provide suggestions for improvements in app design and functionality based on testing.
Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and documentation.
Ensure that the app meets all design requirements, user expectations, and platform guidelines.
Conduct usability testing to ensure intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Participate in agile development cycles, attending sprint reviews, and offering feedback.
Report test progress, issues, and results to stakeholders in a clear and organized manner.
Strong knowledge of mobile testing methodologies and best practices.
Understanding of performance testing, load testing, and security testing.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
Experience with both Android and iOS platforms.
Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles.
Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and scripts.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
